Permanent Lighting Boise · Effective August 27, 2026

This site is run by Permanent Lighting Boise, an independent marketing service. We connect Treasure Valley homeowners who want permanent outdoor lighting with local installation companies. We don't install lights ourselves.

What we collect

Information you enter in the form is collected as you provide it. The form has more than one step, and each step is sent to us when you press the button on it, not held back until the end. So the address you enter on the first screen to check whether we serve your area is collected at that point, along with the answers you give after it. Your name and phone number are collected when you send the step that asks for them.

Altogether that is: your name, phone number, email, city or address, and details about your home and timing. We also collect basic usage data through cookies and similar tools, meaning pages viewed, the ad that brought you here, and a Meta (Facebook) pixel plus analytics that help us measure which ads work.

If you enter an address and stop there, we keep the address and what it told us about your area, and we have no way to contact you, because you have not given us one. You can email us to have it removed (see Your choices below).

On some visits the form is split in two. We ask for your name and phone number partway through, with the permission language on that same screen, and tapping Continue sends them to us right then. Anything you answer after that — your address, the days and times that work, the rest of the questions — is added to that same request rather than starting a second one. If you stop before the end, we keep what you already sent, and you can email us to have it removed (see Your choices below).

Analytics and session recording

We measure how this page is used, in detail. Our analytics providers record which sections you scroll to, which buttons you tap, how long you spend on each question, and where you stop if you don't finish. Some visits are also recorded as a session replay — a reconstruction of the page and your taps, scrolls and mouse movement, played back like a screen recording. It is not video or audio of you or your device, and it does not follow you onto other websites.

Anything you type into the form is hidden from those recordings: the contact form is blocked out and every field is masked before the recording leaves your browser, so your name, address, phone number and email are never in a replay. Analytics events carry the same masking rule — the only identifier we attach to them is the internal reference number for your request, never your contact details.

We collect this whether or not your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal, because we use it to run the site rather than to build advertising profiles about you. If you'd rather we didn't, most browsers can block analytics scripts, and you can always email us to have your data removed (see Your choices below).

How we use it

To do the thing you asked for: get your free design preview made and set up a visit with a local installer if you want one, and text or call you about scheduling it. We also use hashed (scrambled) versions of contact info for ad measurement with Meta, which is how we know an ad led to a request without exposing your details in the open.

Who we share it with

The local installation company that will do your design and your install — that's the point of the site. Beyond that, only the services that keep this running: website hosting, text-message delivery, analytics, and Meta's ad measurement (hashed). We don't sell your information or pass it to anyone unrelated to your request.

How long we keep it

As long as we need it to handle your request and keep honest business records, then it's deleted.

Your choices

Reply STOP to any text and the texts end permanently. Want to see what we have on you, or want it deleted? Email contact@permanentlightingboise.com and we'll take care of it. If you ask us not to contact you, your number goes on our internal do-not-contact list and stays there.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version goes up here with a new effective date.
